Raven Transforming (Sold)
Kyran Yeomans (1988 – First Nation)
If you look closely, you will see a feather, a human hand and a bird eye in this intriguing artwork. The bird in the artwork represents a raven. In First Nation culture, a raven symbolizes the unknown and shows that every person sees the world in a different way. This is very well symbolized in this artwork, as the more you will look at the complex detailing, the more you will see and everyone looks at the artwork differently. The piece was carved out of cedar wood and decorated with white and dark blue accents. It was created by the son of the famous artist Don Yeomans.
